Produced and arranged in collaboration with the famous Stax guitarist Steve Cropper, "For My Treasure...Mother Music" remains one of JOSE FELICIANO's most warm and appealing LPs, unfixed seamlessly between wanton, Memphis-flavored Latin-funk and sun-kissed L.A. grooves. Belief also a winningly eclectic pack of songs that includes a brooding concept of Stevie Astonishment's "Blame It on the Sun" and a speck knowing adaptation of Steely Dan's "Mucky Work."
